Performance Tracking For the Experienced Hunter

Beyond earnings reporting is the more dense jungle of sales and purchase tracking and reporting. This can get costly and time consuming.

That does not mean that it is not important, just be aware that you're entering a more complex world of administration.

Here are some red flags that signal increasing and complex costs ahead:

  • No Direct Access To The Participant
This means a system for gathering and reporting data must be created by you, PFI or the client. This can be cumbersome, time consuming and costly.

  • Tracking Sales Activity
When a customer not only wants to see how participants perform and earn awards, but also wants information on product sales or purchase volume, your administration budget just increased. The biggest problem is insuring the quality and accuracy of the product data reported to you or PFI.

Just Keep It Simple

When it come to rules writing, keeping the award plan, including the performance tracking and reporting simple will make your incentive program easier to understand and more cost effective.

You may not always be able to avoid some of the more complicated elements and requirements previously described, but it is worth looking at and suggesting alternatives before moving forward with what you know is more complicated than it should be.
